In the autumn and winter months black always looks chic and timeless. However, as the spring and summer months arrive, I see that black always looks a bit off. Among a sea of fluorescents florals and stripes, an entirely black ensemble looks out of place. That's why white becomes the neutral of the season. I live in a warmer place (it's about 85 degrees out) my friends and I have already had multiple trips to the beach. With a little bit of a tan (even though I don't tan very often) the white perks up your glow, making you look like a bronze goddess (a la Blake Lively)!

Colored Denim
For my outfits I consider my jeans to be a neutral. But it is pretty fun to mix things up with colored denim and a neutral shirt. Stores like American Apparel and Topshop have tons(and their more afforadable too, always a plus)! My favorites are light pinks, lilacs, and sea-foam greens (my color palette would consist of different Easter-egg colors :D).
I love the chambray shirt with the baby pink jeans! Read the article here.
These are colored and high-waisted! There are so many different colors too!

Light Pastels for Spring
I love Camilla Belle in this ladylike minty-green dress
This lilac goddess dress is just gorgeous!
I want this dress. Elle Fanning is one of my new favorite girls to watch on red carpets, she is quite the risk taker from what I've seen so far (and I'm excited to see more!)
Lea Michele tends to almost always be one of my favorite red carpet ladies. She was daring with her jewerly, the turquiose-salmon combo is great!
I can't get enough of this creamy orange. I've always been scared of the orange in general, but in a shade this light makes it easier to conquer my fear.

My Celebrity Style Inspirations
Emma Watson
I just love Emma Watson! I can never seem to get enough of her. Her style is very classic and she isn't afraid to take a risk (ex - her newest hairstyle!)
Leighton Meester
Ever since I saw the first episode of Gossip Girl, I have been OBESSED with Leighton Meester/Blair Waldorf. On set she is the perfect Blair Waldorf upper East Side prepster, and off set she has an easy I-just-threw-this-together look that still looks sleek and stylish.
Rachel Bilson
To be honest, I've never really seen an outfit I didn't like on her.
I read her InStyle column religiously!
Lea Michele
She always looks fabulous and glamourous on the red carpet
Dianna Agron
To me she exudes Hollywood glamour (which I adore).
More to come!
I Love Bows.
I love bows. Rugged army-green cargos and a leather jacket paired with some neutral colored bow covered shoes or a bag create an eclectic mix of rough-n-tough and girly. When I'm in a rush and feeling lazy, I'll slip into some jeggings and a comfy flannel with some Keds and adding a simple cross-body bow covered bag makes my outift a little more feminine opposed to the all-my-boyfriend's-clothes type of outfit.
I adore hats with bows. Since I'll be going abroad this summer the only outfits I can imagine is a white flowy tunic covering an in-your-face floral bikini with a hat like the one above, working my way around the beach! What could be better?
I just love this bag from Forever21. With the quilted texture and the chain handle, it has the elements of a Chanel bag but is definitely more budget-friendly. And there is nothing I won't do for these rose gold flats from Steve Madden! And who wouldn't want some lady-like gloves? How about these from Topshop?
